to get back, although I certainly
hated to leave home. But I'm
all enthused about studying
now, especially since I found
my name on the Honor List.
I certainly was proud of that and
I am certainly going to try and
not fall below it. There were
only twenty-eight girls out of
about 260 girls in Roble.

I was awfully glad
to see all the girls again,
especially Ruth and Sally
Sutter
. We'er all having a
gay time now. I also saw
Bob and I went to the movies
with him last night - Isabelle
also went double date with us -
Jim was sick, so he and Sally
couldn't go. Yesterday when I
was standing in line to hand
in my registration book, Bob
came up to talk with me;
then George came up on the other
side and started to talk. I got
a little flustered. There are
more men here this quarter and
about the same amount of girls,
so that's very nice. There's a new
med. school of 60 - plus the
old one which is still here.
I'm just dying to go out
with one of the new navy med.s
