but only occasional erratic movement on X + Y

I took the plotter apart and checked
all connection on the interface, switch, cable,
connectors + plotter PC board, ran my own
plot command tape with system and it
worked fine on F-x +/- y [uD?] pen, checked
delays and pulses in plotter and they agree
with [manulr?].
