from the P.A. Record library. Today she
surprised one of the neighbors by identifying
it and all the character-sounds. She further
surprised her by identifying the 2nd movement
of Beethoven's 5th as "Beethoven".
That was a lucky guess because she hadn't
heard it before, tho she is very fond of
the "Apasionata" & "Pathetique" sonatas
which she calls the "Beethoven storm music".

Better go to bed now. It's past time, & after
last night I'm pooped. Toot sees the light
& is still mumbling. She's gotten up twice
already in the last hour to "go potty". Very
unusual, since after a few successful
experiences before she got sick last Fri.,
she's back to waking up happily in her
plastic puddle. Anyway I have to be bright
& fresh in the AM so I can go & be campaign
fodder for "Trickey Dickey." If he does get
elected, he will sadly learn that it will
be physically impossible for him to fulfill
some of his pie-in-the sky campaign promises.
- He'll probably be too busy running
for Pres. He'll never make that without
Caroline's support. "The hand that rocks the
cradle..." you know.
