If you can let any of my friends know, I wish you would tell them I want a few spoons. You see I need them now with the cups, if we serve tea or cocoa. So I've made up my mind to get a small collection. I'll send a dollar anyway for Papa's.

Friday afternoon, after we were through shopping, we spent with Edith Wilcox. It was pleasant to talk over old times as we sat in front of a glowing grate fire sipping delicious chocolate from dainty cups and souvenir spoons and eating delicious cake.

Wednesday night Mrs. Barnes had a small card party and we had a very pleasant time indeed. They made the winners do various funny things, like blowing out a candle blind-folded and sitting while the others drew them, etc.

Mr. Batchelder gave Nellie and me each a piece of Mexican pottery. Mine is a great big jar or bowl, such as they use for all sorts of purposes. I am so proud of it and am only afraid I can't get it home.

It is twenty minutes past four and still the wind and rain have not abated. I wonder if they will keep up forever. Mabel said four things combined to make up the weather,--wind, rain, earthquake and whistle.

We have some pretty roses that Edith gave us which are quite a treat. Well, I don't seem to spin out as long as I used to, do I? I guess I'll tell you the game we played Thanksgiving afternoon.
