DAY 38:

Remain in [Killary?], get hit by the "you-can't-get-there-from-here" syndrome so common these days when we want to go anywhere and ended up just wandering around Killary all day (hard to do, it's a very small town -- very touristy, but the people are exceedingly nice, so you ignore all the tourist shops and such). More relaxation (this exercise stuff must be good for us, a round trip to town is 8 miles, but the scenery is gorgeous and we didn't get rained on on the walk today so... Evengot beds to sleep on in the hostel YEAH!

DAY 39 (July 20- Sunday):

Rented bike from the hostel and rode out to [Muckross?] National Park complete with ruined abbey country house and waterfall. Long ride and very [tiring?], especially on the way back when a very stray wind kicked up the allergies/asthma but really gorgeous green grass and ferns and trees everywhere, not to mention the lakes and trying to avoid the horse pulled [jaunty?] cars. Spent much [time?] avoiding bees too but it was so relaxing and so much needed that we were both quite happy with the day.

DAY 40:

Mainly another travel day. Walked into Killarney for the last time, wandered around, had lunch, used up Irish stamps. Finally caught a train to the train to the boot to the train to London. Spent most of that time finding plums, reading, sleeping and looking at the scenery.

DAY 41:

Arrive into London at 7:30 am. Ran around like crazy trying to find an Am Ex office and get to hostel before 10:00 -- made it and got a place for 2 nights. Did some shopping, finished the National Gallery. Wandered around alot and then went to see Browning [Version and Harliquinn?]
