- dance for (high school) should vote - vote at Mecha meeting Valentine w/ alternatives

- smaller dance (disco) - possibly at I-center or Tresidder or Clubhouse - Stanford Oriented

- Camarillo - film series

- budget for MEChA Wednesday - deadline for groups budgets

-Van funding - pooling together of vans next Wednesday at noon - Hector & Jose will discuss alternatives for van use there will be no official Mecha van if pool is used.

- Karen Murray will meet Carlos Jackson about funding of Orientation (minority)

Committee on student services - still exists overt racist acts on students - we must document examples

- get list of students + organizations

- Tillie will write in "Daily" - needs "feedback"

MEChA has approved $50 to Camarillo's film series

Colectiva - seminars - 4 on sex + cultural related - Debbie Reed - planned - asking for $25

all in favor of $25 for Menudo - approved

Monday 1st seminar on contraceptives + V.D. + Chicanos w/ registered nurse + Norma Baca + Woody Martinez + Mickey Ramos

Vote for new MEChA board members Noelia - 9 (Noela Saldana) Hector - 5 Abstain - 1

Fundraisers - cut backs on minority orientation + summer pre-med minority program go to Committee for Minorities (Ed + Carlos Jackson) meets in 2 weeks Pre-med program (above) is very necesarry Mickey Ramos - representative to core groups for rebuttal of proposal on cutbacks *write a letter of support for MEChA

U.C. Davis - Initiation rites for fraternity - Sylvia Corral dirty song on Mexican whore Jan. 28 - demontration agnst. frat + for minority adm. - for dismemberment of fraternit - wants MeChA for letter of protest to CHE + U.C. Davis. task other colleges to do the same. Ag d protest also to frat

Chicana health conference. - Sylvia meeting for organization. tomorrow night 7:30 at Chicano Fellows office
