Dear Sir - Thank you for your March questionnaire letter and I shall do my best to give you the answers.

I wish to complete two more years of hospital training in Internal Medicine in a teaching hospital. I was at S.F. County House Officer. I would be happy to do this at Lane - what are my chances? I see no reason for change in the pre-war program in this field. I am married and would require the usual parlor, bedroom and sink set up for my wife and child. No extra curricular acti when required in this field plenty of work to do in the hospital.

I too am eagerly looking forward to returning to my old stomping grounds. I know the big question in my mind and those of my companions in similar pre-war sets is: - will we be able to get hopsital jobs and complete our specialty training . We would really appreciate a concrete answer to this.

Sincerely, Sergius Bayner
