Dear Sir - Thank you for your
March questionnaire letter and I shall do my
best to give you the answers.

I wish to complete two more years of hospital
training in Internal Medicine in a teaching
hospital. I was at S.F. County House Officer.
I would be happy to do this at Lane - what
are my chances? I see no reason for change
in the pre-war program in this field. I
am married and would require the usual
parlor, bedroom and sink set up for my
wife and child. No extra curricular acti-
when required in this field plenty of
work to do in the hospital.

I too am eagerly looking forward to
returning to my old stomping grounds.
I know the big question in my mind
and those of my companions in similar
pre-war sets is: - will we be able to
get hopsital jobs and complete our specialty
training . We would really appreciate a
concrete answer to this.
