Your Kindness respecting the secretary pleased me much
and I certainly shold have taken it and found the
benefit to be great but as we think of leaving will
not take it. I have ordered a wrighting table with the
lid to lify up and a draw which will answer other pur
poses to. The Ship Skegton (?) sails to morrow, I did not know of
departure so soon and should have been better prepared,

as it is - I have not time to read it over you must
pardon me. I shall write again by Mr Eagar
who goes in about 2 months. I believe not of the
family have written by this conveyance.
