Home of tranquility for one of bustle and danger. I feel myself
weak and inadequate to the important work - but Jesus is strong.
Pray to Him for me (for he does hear and answer prayers) and take no
denial, that He would Gloryfy Himself by making a poor weak person
like warm in some respects useful in 'this cause tho' it be but as
a hewer of wood and drawn of water - Nothing is too hard for Jesus.
Pray to the Wonderful Countenance that I may be made of some service
as a [indecipherable]. Tho' I have neither evidence, talents, nor learning for a Master builder. Pray to Him in whom dwelleth the [indecipherable] of
the God head bodily. for a great outpouring of His Eternal Spirit upon
me. That he would give me the spirit of Love of Jesus and of a
sound mind, and fill me with all the [indecipherable] of God.
give me sincere faithfulness - strong patience - [indecipherable] courage,
and fervent Zeal - That he would take away from me the fear
of man, and fill me for the work that lieth before me
in every respect - I stand in need of all these mercys.

received a portion of that meek and loving & gentle spirit of him who

promised to give His people whatever they ask in his name that

Him that those will not let Him go without a blessing on thy Head. &

preach the Everlasting Gospel. The fields are white for the Harvest

The Gentleman you saw in London whose name you had forgotten
is Mr. [indecipherable]. He happens just at this moment to call upon
me - he desires his best respects - I believe he is preparing
to go to new Zealand. but it will probably be some time before
he leaves Engl - I think the Lord seems [indecipherable] up the way
of Mr. Mortimer that he should not leave Madeley - where he
is certainly in a sphere of great usefulness -

Our time is short & the bustle of getting
ourselves and things on board when we get to London will
be such that it is doubtful whether I shall be able to
write you again er'e we sail - I will if I can -
If we never meet again in this World I hope and trust
we shall in another and a better - where Jesus is - for
to be with Jesus, will be Heaven enough for T H & I know for T H
too - he will wipe all tears from our Eyes & we will sing worthy
is the Lamb for ever - May the God of all Consolation
