Diary p Rev T Hassall, incumbent of St Paul's, Cobbity 2 ECLIPSES. In 1865 there will be two Eclipses of the Sun, and two of the Moon :- April 11, Moon, partial, visible at Greenwich, begins at 3.45 a.m. ; middle 4.38 a.m. ; ends 5.30 a.m.

April 25, Sun, total, but not visible at Greenwich, partial at Cape of Good Hope ; begins 3.27 p.m. ; middle 4.25 p.m. ; ends 5.18 p.m.

October 4, Moon, partial, visible at Greenwich ; begins 9.39 p.m. ; middle 10.39 p.m. ; ends 11.40 p.m.

October 19, Sun, annular, visible partially at Greenwich, 4.11 p.m. ; 5.8 p.m. Sun sets 4.57.
