I Hope your goodness will excuse my taking
this liberty of writing to you - on so troublesom a subject -
you will plese to understand I am the Sister of John Wigston
a conviect at New South Wales - you will perhaps recollectd having
an interview ith me at Mr Pineys (?) in the City of COventry
and my troubling you with a letter to the Colones - -
we hae neaver heard any account of him since your reutn
we hae since that time we haev lost our Dear Mother
and there is many circumstances that render it necessary
for us to know if he is a love and wether he is likely
every to return to England or not - we have been informed
that he has been sent to Newcastle for some misconduct since
his arrival at New South Wales - but we cannot get at the
truth - perhaps that may be the cause of his silence -
Mr Piney informs me that some letters from you to
this country have been unfortunate at
