Fine warm day.
Went to town early to Mitchell to verify some references.
Then to leave a book at Shepherd's, then to bank to get Dr Burnham's $10 Canadian changed for £4/11/9.
Then to Newsreel, then to A & R to see Nan McD & get my copy of Ten Creeks (no copies in shop) but saw 2 displayed at Morgan's.
Thence home so exhausted I staggered.
Had a rest, got some tea, had only a sav bis, at midday.
in evening started to read "The Little Milliner".
Got a letter from Helene Schiu-Riesz [Helene Scheu-Reisz] after all the years.
