Heavy fog all day. Went to have
tea with Mrs
French.
chilblains
& no privacy.
20 Mon
Fog & rain. No sun. Got a turn
from lack of food. Ethel came &
we went home together & had something
to eat. Miss McD. called.
21 Tues
Fog & rain. Ran around
to Bank. The Quintessence of
dismal weather.
22 Wed
Frost with fog upon
it. Chilblains & sheer misery.
Oh for a warm room where
I cd. think in private & physical
comfort.
