Nipping frosty wind turned
into real
snow lying thick everywhere and
remaining.

15 Fri
Snow still lying thick every-
-where. Executive Committee met to select
new sec. I entertained the candidates
in outer office - 5 in all. Mrs. A. very
upset. Letters from 2 hotels about her
husband cashing empty cheques.

16 Sat
Short day in office. Fed Mrs.
A & Miss H and escaped to my
lair for a rest. Had a sleep.
Very cold on top of the snow.
