11 Mon - Plough Monday
Clear fine mild day. Pottered about
with chores
Went down to
Mrs Hamilton & Miss Mackenzie
for dinner.

12 Tues
Blowing up a colder
wind. The 3 Ex. Officers came
& picked out five from
among the applicants which
I had sorted.

13 Wed
Nipping frosty wind.
So exhausted that I went home to
bed at 4p.m. Had a little
milk and bread in my room
