11 Sun
Cold day. After lunch in cafe had bath and
nice rest. Read papers and did chores.
Aunt Lena drawing nearer.

12 Mon - [diary's print - New Moon] And new luck I hope.
Nice day. Some sun. Went to Australia House
and I bought [cheques?] and [jam and honey?]

13 Tues
Nipping wind towards night. Usual busy day
in office. No inspiration yet but it is coming
soon.

14 Wed
Lovely day. Mr Elgood came in afternoon.
In evening I went down and stayed night with
Mab Maynard. Found her very tiring. Very
likely it was my fault.
