Nice day. Did chores.
Went to Lady Byles for supper.
19 Mon
Miss Hodgson wrote that she had fallen down
and incapacitated herself. Made a fearful
day for me. Never out of office. Striving
all day.
20 Tues
Mr Martin and I were very busy. It is too
much of a good thing to work for these old
dead heads.
21 Wed
Went to Macquarie House and sent a cable to
Aunt Lena
