Cold showery day. Miss Hodgson came back
looking like debauchery itself. Messrs
Shawcross & Platt in office. Very busy all
day. Sick all in the evening and it was
[?] . Conceited selfish brutes.
23 Fri
Cold wet day. Very busy in office.
At 5.20 left and went to meet Aunt Lena. Brought her
and Barbara to Minerva.
24 Sat
After dinner took A. Lena round Westminster
and home by Picadilly etc.

John Burns came in on Friday. I asked him
why he had said that about [?]
in Margo's book. He said it was joke and
[suggested?] she had no right to make copy of it.
