the character & condition of the Aboriginees.
Indeed I know of no other source that
I could draw & think I am entitled
to give my opinion having for upwards

to these unfortunate beings. To the older Colonials
not much I say may be new.
Even the fact that the Aborigines
are fast dwindling away [word crossed out] before
our eyes that we have disinherited
them of their land & have been the
indirect case of their extermination
must excite some interest in us
in their behalf.
And now a few passing remarks as

these wild sons of the forest descended
with what other races or nothing they
are more early related and how they
came to this country, I shall not pre
