July 6th
Opportunity to move Ann Kirkby, from
the Ironing room at once, I have
therefore placed her in the work room
as we have some needlework that is
required to be done as soon as possible
and she is a good needle woman.
The water pipe in the Laundry burst
yesterday morning, it has been mended
to-day, and a new tap put in the cistern
to prevent the waste of water there.
Mr Robens held an evening service
The Laundress went out.

7th
Bridget McAnn brought a note
from Mrs Cowper asking, me to take her
in until Tuesday next, waiting, the
decision of the Ladies of the Committee
Ellen Smith was seized with fits this
morning, I went to Dr. Nathan came
and prescribed for both Ellen and
Martha Buckle. Mr Addington of
Parramatta brought Emily Dent to
remain here for six months, he promises
to marry her at Xmas.

8th
I went to Mrs Goodlet this morning
to get some quarterly accounts signed
for the Gentlemen's Committee this
afternoon. Ellen Smith's fits have
been so frequent through the day
that I went this evening to Dr. Nathan
who prescribed for her, and promises
to call tomorrow.
