Gentlemen,
You will find inclosed the
proceedings of the officers of two Brigages [sic]
of the second division Ten. Militia
Without subscribing particularly
to their views I have to remark that
much good would result from anual [sic]
drils [sic] if the time was at least one
week - and I am of opinion that
tents and camp equipages ought to be
furnished; this could be deposited
at the place of Brigade drill and
be useful for many years- this expence
together with that of furnishing the
meat and bread part of rations
would be small and much good
would no doubt result from
it - The present miitia law
is very dificent [sic]
Respectfully yr frind [sic]
