- By the way suppose you write a notice of the
appearance of these Insects - I mean also for
publication in the Academy Proceedings
- state extent of country in which they appeared
as far as practicable and every thing else that
you observed, - I will see to publishing it -
- the next No. of our Proceedings will be
published 1^st Sept. - Your observations in
several of your letters to me ought to be printed
and if you will not prepare the papers for
publication in our Proceedings my present
intention is to do it myself - think of that
Robert! - get right at it -

As soon as my 10^th no. is published I will
commence arranging a small ornithology
like Nuttalls - now partly written -
- dont know when I will get it done -

I have sent my 9^th no. to Dr. Kennicott
Chicago - enclosed is a list of subscribers
who have not paid - which you requested
but I do not hold you bound to collect
