The Grove Feb 9th 1858

Dear Bob

Not withstanding I wrote you a
long letter sunday I think another one
to day will be acceptabl.

Major and Mr Clark have been down
at the old house makeing labels all
the afternoon, and Delia and Cora
have taken pity on the "poor lonesome
fellows" and gone down to visit them:
Bruno says they have just started
to go over to Aunt Dele's.

We have commenced having
Dr Livingstons travils read aloud. we
think they will prove interresting as
well as instructive.

There is about five inches of snow
on the ground; enough to make
capital sleighing, and we all feel
extremely anxious to take a ride;
hope we shall have one before the
snow goes off.
