Chase to dy, he will be home
Newyears, I do not know how
long he will stay this time.

We are all glad that Father
has gone to Washington; I think
if his eyes are only well he
will enjoy himself well.

I have been reading lots of
things; and have plenty of things
that I want to read.

I will write to Father in
this letter.
