Dear Bob,
I have been trying to write to you
for a long time it is not hard for me to
write a letter after I can get into it but
getting into it is the thing I am into it
now at this late day but I will try and get
into it earlyer next time you will say
that this is the old story I admit it is
and I am affraid that it will be so next
time but I will try and think about it in
better season next time.
Mother received a letter from Cousin
Belle last friday dated Aug 1. it was
written soon after their arrival ^{in New York} the wer
well and happly they will probably be here
the last of this week or the first of next
I think that I shall like Belle from
her letter it is a straight forward nice
letter and written good I am very impat-
ient to see them all I wish that you
and Charlie could be here we would have
some times then and no mistake.
I am still in the store and wish
to God that I could get out of it I mean
to go to school sometime but when and
