sometimes when you are sure it
wont tire you and tell
Alice & Mary Seeley & the Major
to write sometimes.

Tell Jem Ill write to
him twixt now and next
winter - .

I had a pleasant time with
Sam Baird in Phila - spent
all my time with him, Cassin,
and young Cope who is a splendid
fellow. Sam Bairds sore finger
was a more serious affair
than you probably supposed - and
is not intirely well yet.

Love to you all
