Friend Kennicott
Dear Sir
I recieved your list of Apples
worthy recommendation & am
greatly obliged - among yours
I find some kinds which I do not
expect J.G. Little has - of him I
shall get a part of my scions for
the coming winter, on our ofc,
as he has bought a few thousand
Houghton Seedlings the past year or two
- In the event he cannot supply - do
you want Houghton Seedling - 1 year
plants at 6[cents] or 2 year at 8[cents] in Exchange
for a few thousand scions - The
varieties which I think I shall want
- Stannard's Seedling - Dutchess of [Oldenburg?]
- Jersey Sweet, Hislop Crab. & perhaps
some others, --- We have nothing
to cut scions from but 2 year old
