Dear Mr. Driskell Your letter is the first news that I've received concerning my application to Illinois State. I would like to thank you for both your support and influence in getting me admitted. In addition feel free to call on me for future service. So far the preparations for the show are running smoothly. As for the slides I'm still waiting for you to send me a mailing address for Leonard Simon (?). All that I've been able to found out about your tenant is, that she is still waiting on her pay check. If and when you see Novella or Louvella (?) tell her that I said hello.
