Thurs. 27th. Clear, cooler.

Father took Aunt Eliza to Fair Hill, to
go to Washn. with Cousin Sarah for the
day. After dinner I went to Bkve. with
Dolly, to spend the aft. and night.
Cousin Charlie K. brought Aunt Eliza and
the mail up in the evening.

Fri. 28. Clear & cold.

The following Aunt Eliza has kindly
kept for me. Brother Charlie, Sister Annie
and Mary left at 6.30 for Charles Town
W. Va. going by Washn. Cousin Jim called.
also Mrs. & Miss Yearly in the afternoon.
Bro. C. came home at 8.

Father, Mother, Sister and I left Olney at
7.15 for Kensington, the road bad. Went
into town in the same car with Susie
Barnsley and Marion Jones. Mother &
sister took our baggage to the B. & O. station.
via the F. St cars. Father & I went to
Cottage Market for a few minutes. Then
met Mother and Sister on F. St. went to
Meyer's, Boston House, Lansburgh's, Bon
Marche, where I purchased my hat.
Baum's, 5 & 10th Ctr. strr. Lake; Lindsey's
lunched at Budd's, where Father left us.
Mother went to Rich's for shoes. Sister
and I to the Boston House. Time was
getting short, so Mother and I took a car
for the depot: in plenty of time for the 3.48
Express for Charles Town. Saw Senator
Willington at the depot. A beautiful ride.
