We have this day recd. yours of the 23 Febry with two hhds: Tobacco which is inspected. I inclosed you have a note of the same - No. 702 required a new hhd, the cost of which is 5/. & charged to your acct. - Fine salt is exceding scarce. We have not 200 Bushells on hand, or [?] have loaded the waggon with it, and none of our neighors has got any to spare, - Should we get any before you send down any more waggons, we will remember to send fine inplace of the great-- It would be well, if you agreed with your waggoners. What quantity of Salt, they are to load. We have alwiss disputes with them, & never can perswade them to carry what is reasonable. This man would not on any terms carry more, & we are certain he has but barely 20.0.0 - We are Sirs yrs &c M: & J Wallace & Co
