[1865?] Mrs Cameron I send up this morning such supplies as I can get 5 bags meal 2 of good Flour one of coarse flour marked thus [symbol of circle with cross in it] Home Butter 5 cakes 5 lbs Stagville Butter 4 cakes 3 1/2 lbs bbl. Potatoes Please return all barrells & bags as no one here now to make them send the case from up stairs Please say to Mr Cameron I dont think he should for the present use buy any salt or Iron as a large part of what he had from Richmond a year or more since of Iron is yet on hand enough to finish another crop with care for himself Bro. & Sister as to salt his Bro. & Sister has none he has enough for him self & them to put up the little crop of pork he has 45 Sacks of the cost salt on hand will be to see you as soon as prudent to leave home cant find out who the men ware at Stagvill on Sunday it is a dayly occurence & nighly to have such men around us we are in a bad condition dont know whare to look for any aid as the home police is a dum consern Respectful S. Not been able to get & send the lightwood this week will have you a load ready for charles to cary up next week as this little wagon is a bout down Betsy has had a rising on the finger Not yet done your work will send it by next oportunity S.P.

Mrs Cameron I send up this = morning such supplies that can be had 10 prs.. stockings & Emilys measure she has not a pr yet alone ball cord pr pantalets 12 ld Buttin box with Scales & the baby dishes Paulean ordered the Chain I had forgoton to send before 4 Servants dresses 5 [Harris?] taken from Negro who had shold them the bucket that was sent back could not be made at that time as Harvest was on us and a [Mile?] dam that could not with propriety be left over for a fresh [presented?] its being made a new one will be made 2 sent by next passing. your. note with the orders I try to fulfil all your orders as fare as I can but sorry to say my memory is not to be depened [depended] upon in any matter I have been quite unwell ever since Mr Cameron was here the last two days well as usual Not yet here been quite sick but better has a turable [terrible] cough speaks of returning to his place I fear not able to work he is much reduced in flesh I fear he is a consumtive. Sorry to hear your own health is so poorly hope you are now well again. No doubt you would like to know how we are getting on with house maters I try to have things kepe as decent as possible & save what you have here but not as you have kept it the servant, will now do but little & cant be fourced to do any thing I am a sorry hand at begging a negro to work taking all as it comes will do the best I can for your interest & comfort S.
