[Mr?] Cameron Jude was in bed when the work came and have not seen him intil this morning [Mehalen?] & Betsey make two [illegible] of the [drawers?] which I send up She takes ot the work this morning to go to work. The [water?] so low could not get any [illegible] send three bags flour Barrel Potatos [illegible] [illegible] from home [illegible] from [Stagville?] clothes line Jude aske for fine cotton to make the small cord 22 [illegible] melons 28 pears no chickens or Eggs to be had here or fruit of any sort [rife?] - I got you wool to [illegible] [illegible] Thursday was promised back next Saturday have the [illegible] dried as fast as it comes will have the corn done as soon as open weather comes wanting rain badly looks like we may have some today. everything in an unsettled [uneasy?] [constitution?] here no one at work some [illegible] but nothing doing to any advantage anywhere I am getting badly [helped?] Respectful S.
