Fri. 10 The morning is clear calm & cold N.W.
William I stayed intirely alone last night.

Self Thomas is in the Webster country with a
Thos cutting Machine cutting Wheat & won't
W. J. W. be back before Sunday William J.W. is
Hamon attending to law Matters in Town
round about Mostly in Town by day
Visiting at night & now at thomas mostly
of nights while Thomas is gone, this
leaves me along Mostly except the blacks

Hail & Rain at 10-10 A.M. It is hailing & Raining from N.W. Cold
Fanna $2.40 Fanna sent an order to me to send to Wilbanks for
Meal a turn of meal did not get it, I sent
of Meal it cost $2.40 I borrowed of Jo $.40

Rain It has been raining (& still rains) nearly all day

Sat 11 The morning is Cl and calm & quite cold no frost.
Self I stayed last night all alone. I rested verry
wm. Well William has not returned from South

Weather can do but verry little. I fear this wet weather
Weeds & Grass Will take the country. Rich &

Meal Jo went to Neeley's Mill braught home
making 5 bushels at this time Sat. evening
I want to see how long it will last.

Rain It commenced rain at 5 p.m. & is Raining
will Rain at night

wm. William got home at dusk through the Rain
