My darling husband. To day is 18 months
since you were taken from me. I trust you
are happy now & do not regret having
to leave the wife & children you so fondly
loved. I miss & mourn you more & more.
I went to your resting place this morning
after church. Did you see me my
darling When I am in town I will
visit your grave daily. I hope you are
with are lovely children; & are bearing
saliently the separation from me. You
must intercede with our Savior to ask
a good God that he will send his Holy
Spirit into our hearts & make us penitent
for our sins, give our hearts to thee
& not one of our should be lost eternally.
Oh pray we may be a united [family] [illegible]
for ever & forver & my sister & all hers &
our parents. Pray that our son [illegible] be happy
in marrying the girl he is engaged to
God bless them [illegible] & bless you & me & our
children & [grandchildren]. Oh God make me
a [christian] [illegible] that our son [illegible] be elected
to [Congress] that the [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible]
[illegible] [illegible] [illegible] be [succesful]. let [illegible] [illegible]
