& all on side he suffers severely -

I do feel so sorry - Our dear cousin
sends you her love and says she was
fully determined to write to you today
but [Mr Y]'s sickness has prevented
he was really quite ill last night but
is better today - I pray he may soon
be up & about again - Poor [Jaines?]
[?] is dead & it was just as his
man said - he died down at Tampa
Bay - Florida - where he had gone for
change of air - I do pity them all
deeply - for William [Gourne?] will do
all he can to cheat them-

Poor Sarah [Moovill?] I was much
attatched to her- her poor mother
is perfectly [sl?ed] & her husband
it is dreadfull - I think you are
very right not letting Tip go back
to Darwin - it would be a bad thing
for you to get [there? f?] over your
