My own dearly loved Mother

Your dear letters
came to hand dear Mother - I am
so thankful that our darling [Floyd?]
is doing so well - and now Mother we
must again thank God - that our loved
[Appy] has passed through all danger
and is doing so well - When I went
to see her on Monday - [th? B?] thought
her cold much better and that
there was no danger of measils - but
after the Mail left on Tuesday they
came out full on [her?] - And though
her attack has (for the deseas) [over?]
light still we were all [ovry ?easy]
Thank God for all his mercys- She
is much better and will I hope
be out of bed by Sunday - I have
gone to [inquir?] for her regularly every
day - often twice - I have just come
from there - I spoak to dear [Appy] through
the door - she says she is feeling [miracally?]
better - [This B?] says it is not safe
