news - Oh Mother when I found
that - our dear [Appy] nearly had the
Measels - My heart grew sick - I know
my Mother how miserable you would be
did you know it - Ah - I know how much
you have to distress & [griev?] you dear
loved Mother - but he who holds the
sea in his hand - will guard us all

life - blessd be his name -

To my sorrow people begin to find
out that I am staying here - and
to call on me - Oh I [shrink? so pour?]
