Dear Ballard
I have nothing to
communicate only Uncle Isaac has
not yet arrived & I have sold about
Thirty Negros Since my last at a
Small decline in Price in fact all
of the pirates have give way in Prices
I would not advise you to be [?]
even to purchase at Present Prices in
your market as the Price of Cotton
is flat and many Negros in market.
& I am affraid we cannot obtain
more than 800$ & $600 for field Negros
that will not do when you pay $625
to $700 for men & I do not think the
Louisa. Planters Can pay more and as
for getting Cash it is utterly out of
the question all pay 12 mths papers
Yours as usual
