My dear Sir
You may imagine yett
I cannot describe my present feelings
as soon as the old man was taken
he sent for me When I gott up I found
him a corpse I shall in a few days
start to Tennessee with his family
and his remaens Ballard I wish
you to present to your Wife my
Kindest Regards

I sent on your power of
Attorney as soon as Recd the money
Will by sent to Nolle & Son for
your I have done nothing with
the Bank nor can I now doe
anything Before next fall.
if you make any arrangement
duren my absence make
the same arrangement for me
and Franklin Estate that you
make for yourself

in order that you may
know all I hand you the
enclosed Letter the contents of
which you must not speak
of to any person after you
read Hughs Letter enclosed it to
me at Gallatin Tennessee
