Board of Trustees of the University of No. Carolina
December 8.th 1795.

And be it Ordained, that for the
year 1796 a Salary of Two Hundred Pounds shall
be paid to the Treasurer of the Trustees in full
of all services by him to be done aperformed.

And be it also Ordained, that to the
several duties heretofore performed by the Treasurer
shall be added that of settling and reporting on
all manner of accounts of what kind or nature
soever which interest the University; as well those
which shall be referred to him by the Board as
those which may otherwise come to his hands -
the whole of which shall be settled by him, on
an uniform principle, and agreeably to the
rates of Commission and per cent as allowed by
the several Ordinances of the Trustees; and all
such accounts and the vouchers belonging to them
shall be filed and lodged in his office, and the
proper Entry and charge thereof shall be made
in his Books.

And be it further Ordained that
the Attornies of the Trustees for the respective Districts
shall make annual returns, and settle their accounts
