I was in Warrenton about ten days ago - Catherine was quite well

3 or 4 days ago - all well - I do not think I can stand this

I am about to sell my land to Marmaduke and Gray for $10.000 -
Brother H has proposed to sell me one of his tracts in Alaba.
the 640 acre tract @$35. per acre - 3 years credit without any
cash paymt. Redman Bunn will join me in copartnership
we put in 15 hands each - I am going out in October
and it is at my option to take the land or not when I come
to see it - Bro. H. says we can pay for it in 2 years, cotton [paper damage]
12 1/2 cents or even at 10 cents - that 30 hands will make 2000 [paper damage]
with ease, 500 lb. in the bag - and that the corn will pay the
expenses of the farm - [Joel?] Wills goes with the negroes as
overseer - If I trade with Duke & May I expect to take negroes in

former letter - I know how to appreciate your feelings under
