Interest alltho they are not yet due, I have thought that
possibly you might feel willing to make some payment
However small it would be some relief and a great
favour - A remittance would be made by a draft
from the Bank of the United States, which would answer
my purpose & ^I^ would take the whole loss of the
exchange or the premium paid for the Bill, at all
events, be pleased to let me hear from you by Mr
Holderly & let me know, whether you hope to [page torn]

I saw your son the other day, he is well & Iam
happy to say, is avery studious, moral & promising young
man, I trust that he wil be the honor & happiness of
your declining years.
