your favor of 30^thult, advising us of the collection for claim
against the estate of John Faires. Aware that it is owing to your
good management that this collection has been made we offer
you our thanks for the particular attention you have bestowed
upon it.

You will oblige us on receipt of this by remitting the
amount [pr?] mail in large notes of your State Bank, unless you
^can procure Virginia or other Eastern notes, in which case please give
the latter the preference.
