the tobacco was sold to Thos McGehee who sent it immediatly to Petersburg and sold it for almost double what it cost him in Milton when there had been no visible change in the prices of Tobo for the better. also of his taking cows horses &c when they were actually wanted at the plantation and keeping them as long as it suited his convenience and at the expiration of 5 or 6 months send another in the place of the one taken perhaps not worth half as much

I am unable to attend court as I intend starting to Lynchburg in few minutes on business In haste I remain yrs Respectfully Ajax J Walker
