catarrh Parsonage evacuated Maddrill's family arrive

Monday September 15, 1884

Clear, cool and very pleasant -- Bothered considerably today getting a team to come & haul away the rest of my things from my old room in the parsonage -- [illegible] Wagen finally came about five PM and took them, half a dozen boxes, two barrels, etc., up to my cabin -- Evening down town short time -- Bed at eleven -- Have been considerably with nasal catarrh & sore eyes the last few days -- The parsonage is not completely evacuated, as far as I am concerned -- Maddrill went down to Battle Mountain Sunday morning to meet his family & came up with them last evening -- They occupy the parsonage with exception of my old room which the Lewis Bros reserve for their own use -- Maddrills family are from Grass Valley, Cal, where they have been since they left here some months ago. They stopped a few days in Carson and Reno, visiting friends & relatives on the way here --
