Stitician?] to have Joe Marshall appointed as canvassing agent -- He offered it to me but I wouldnt have it on account of interference with the Enterprise business -- Enclosed $2.50 from Joe to pay for a canvassing copy -- Bed 4:30 --

Clear warm & pleasant -- Bed 3:30 -- Wrote letter to Henry Welsh Austin in reply to offer from buy or lease my lot --

Cloudy but very pleasant -- Mining day -- also attended & reported graduating exercises of class of '86 Va High School -- at Opera House -- Big crowd & nice exercises -- Bed 3:30 --

Saturday May 29

Clear & fine -- Got off the letter to Henry Welsh Austin and one to J A Miller, Austin -- offered to sell my Austin property -- all to Welsh for $200 cash & JA Miller, County Clerk is my agent for sale of it -- Work as usual -- Bed 3:30 --

Showers -- Rose at 7 -- no breakfast -- left on 8 oclock train for Reno -- Throughat
