for Lt Governor, and W E F Deal spoke at Opera House this evening -- Good House -- I wrote a couple items for the Enterprise and then went to the speaking -- afterwards was about town awhile -- Bed at 2 -- cloudy and freezing --

Cloudy & cold -- About town, talking politics all day -- Evening I wrote up the Reno Reduction Works, but don’t know if it will get into morning Enterprise -- J P Jones gave the final speech of the campaign at the Opera House this evening to big audience --

Snow!

bonfires in the streets, etc -- I was too busy with my reduction works article to attend -- A heavy snowstorm occurred about 7 or 8 oclock, which piled the snow up to the depth of 3 inches -- Was at Enterprise office short time -- Bed at 1 -- Snowing lightly & threatening more --

Heavy snowstorm this morning for about an hour -- 3 inches piled and staid -- Cold & freezing all day in the shade -- Cloudy all day -- I was about town among the political chaps etc -- Took evening train for Reno -- all right --
