Same -- Good night's sleep last night straightened me up all right -- Work as usual -- Bed 3 -- Meeting of Centennial Trustees this PM at our office in Odd fellows' building -- I presided -- Passed bills to extent of $1300 -- Letter from Supt says have sunk 15 ft deeper, on the new resumption & got through lava strata into black sand, loam, & white clay -- Very encouraging --

Same -- As usual -- Bed 2 -- cloudym blustery & threatening --

Cloudy, but rather pleasant -- As usual -- Bed at 3 --

Clear & pleasant -- Mining day -- PM rode with Archie McDonell, Supt of the Bullion in buggy to the Bullion mine, Crossus shaft, & took look at the new hoisting works recently erected there to get after the good ore on the 300 level & below -- After that he took me down to the ( Ward ) shaft, or "Bullion Combination Shaft," as he wished to see about some blacksmithing he was having done in the shop there -- Got him to drop me at the Chollar office, -- Got my regular report items, then went to Savage office & got more items -- & finally wound up at the Con Cal & Va office,
