Same -- Rose at 6 and went to Carson -- About town -- Yerington extended my pass ten days -- To Va on evening train -- Went to theater -- "Mikado" by the Pyke opera troupe -- Fine -- Big house -- Bed at 1 -- My report in Enterprise this morning cut down to less than a column --

Sunday March 6

Same -- About town -- Evening Frank Ward came to my room and got me to write up report for him on his La Plata Ore mine, Gold Hill to the President, John H Dickinson, San Francisco -- Getting it incorporated and stocked at the West Crown Point Mining Company -- Also wrote his opinion to the company, through Dickinson as to the best way to work and develop the mine -- Took 4 hours -- Went to Enterprise office and had talk with Taggart at his rooms over the Enterprise office, where Cohen has been living -- Bed at 4 --

Clear, and Springlike -- The beautiful snow is rapidly disappearing -- It makes traveling along C street, however, yet for teams, PM I was out on South C street and called in and saw Charley Ockel at his saloon -- Has been nearly dead from kidney disease and partial paralysis for the last three or four weeks, but is a little better, and able to walk around a little -- Busy at odd jobs at home most
